Comment: GTAW on Mild Steel Plate and Pipe ( 120302b) pg 25 Table 6 it says 7018 Welding parameters 3/32 70 -120, SMAW on Mild Steel Pipe (120302a pg 15 table 1 it says 7018 3/32 70 to 100 and 1/8th 7018 and 6010 80 to 140, then in SMAW and Oxyfuel Cutting on Mild Steel (120301c) pg 4 Table 1 6010 1/8 is 65 to 140 then later in the module on pg 8 Table 3 it states again 1/8 6010 is 80 to 140 and 3/32 7018 is 70 to 100. I know it one is talking about pipe and an other is plate but why the amperage parameter change ?

Comment: A) Page 7, Metallurgy Terms. The term for space lattice is: " The arrangement of atoms within each molecule". Metallic bonding is not the same as molecular bonding. The wording suggests that metals consist of molecules. Perhaps something along the lines of " A three dimension arrangement of atoms that occurs in solid materials such as metals" ? B) Page 10, 4th paragraph, Figure 7 and Page 11, 1st paragraph states that the carbon content of BCC iron is 0.0025%. Carbon content for BCC iron ranges from 0.008% (room temp) to a maximum of 0.025% (not 0.0025%) at 723 deg C.
